long does it take to get my business up and running?
Usually your business is up and running the same day.
Typically, we walk you through a question and answer wizard that
builds your facility and sets up your business. Unless
your business is unusually complex, this process only takes a
little while.
What
information is displayed on my schedule? This
is completely up to you. Anything about your appointment
or customer can be displayed in the appointment cell. In fact, you can have
different views of your schedule that show different
information.
Can I
integrate scheduling into my existing web site?
Yes. We will provide you a link for your web site so that
your customers can be directed to your online appointment
scheduling. You can also use this link in any email
broadcast or correspondence to drive traffic to your business.
Is there
a free trial? Yes. You have a
7 day free trail.
Can I cancel my service at any time? Yes. You
are billed on the first of each month for the month. Just
let us know prior to the first of the month. There are no long term
commitments. We want you to be happy and will do
everything possible to insure your satisfaction.
Can customers
book multiple services?
Yes. Your customers may book multiple services for the same day.
The scheduler will optimize the services and perform them in the
order you desire in a contiguous manner.
How far in
advance can I schedule appointments?
There is no limitation.
Can you import my current
customer database?
Yes. There
is a nominal fee and the customer information must be
in electronic format.
Is
there a charge for customer support? No.
My
business is seasonal, can I suspend service? Yes.
However, if you elect to suspend service you must prepay for the
entire year.
What database is used to store my information? We
use Microsoft's SQL Server database.
How reliable is
the internet?
We have 99.5% network availability.
Can I
restrict when my customers can make and cancel
appointments? Yes. You define your advance
reservation and cancellation rules based on your customers.
In fact, you can have different rules for different types of
customers. These rules are quite extensive and allow you
great control of your schedule.
Can I restrict my customers from making appointments for
selected services? Yes. The flexibility
of AppointmentsNow lets you restrict and authorize what services
can be directly booked and which ones require your
authorization.
Can I
collect credit card information at the time of the appointment?
Yes. For each service that you offer, you
determine if a credit card should be collected at the time of
the booking.
Do
you perform credit card authorization? No.
We check the card to insure that the number is valid, however,
we do not check for available funds or debit the card holders
account.
Can I
setup flexible service times? Yes. You
can set up flexible durations and service times for each of your
service. Whether you book 5, 7 1/2, 30 minute, or 4 hour appointments
it doesn't matter. There are no restrictions.
Can I
book an appointment that spans multiple days? No.
Can I
allow my customers to see my entire appointment book?
Yes. You can configure the software to show all
availability or only allow them to request a time of day and the
system shows them the closest available 2 times to their
request.
Can I
schedule a class or activity that has a fixed number of
openings? Yes. This is completely
configurable and there is no limitation of the class size.
Do I need an
internet connection in my business to use the software?
Yes. Your information resides on our servers and to access
the information you need to be connected to the internet.
A high speed (DSL or cable) connection is suggested.
Do I need to install any software?
No. There is software to install. Assuming
you have Microsoft's Internet Explorer (version 6 or above) you
are ready to begin.
Do my
customers need to use Internet Explorer?
No. Any modern browser will
work fine.
